We are staying at the Holiday Inn Palace in Edmonton. Thanks to some good fanagling by Chris we are getting our rooms for $6 more than the super 8 he usually stays in, and this place is freaken unbelievable. King sized bed, really nice decor, big rooms, all the amenities. Drool. Let's just stay here forever k? It's nicer than my house!
The last week was pretty cool. I spent the week measuring stuff before they blew it up at the Suffield Military Base. I can't say a whole lot more (security and whatnot) except to say 1000kg bombs are REALLY REALLY cool.
Made it to Church in Calgary tonight thank God. It was really great to get to sit and just participate in Mass with no distractions. I can't remember the last time I could just sit and listen to Fr. Bill and not worry about what was coming next. I coulda killed him though, at the end of Mass Colm was getting up to introduce himself and Fr. Bill thanked me before he introduced Colm, right down to pointing me out in the congregation. I turned 14 shades of red I think. But it was so awesome of him to. To hear kind praise come from him in front of that many people speaks so much to me, and I'm so thankful for the time I got to spend working at St. Bon. I'm gonna miss Fr. Bill a lot when he retires.
Anyway, it's late, and I got an early start tomorrow (wow, the field is really killing my english... ah well, I have to let something slip in lou of picking up a foul foul mouth :D)
