Merry Christmas

That's right I said it. Chirstmas. Not happy holidays (well, happy holidays too), but MERRY CHRISTMAS.

Okay, that's out of my system.

Went to the food bank yesterday to help out a bit... it was good. They put four of us on the hamper line so we were packing hampers for clients. Pretty good time. Support your food bank this Christmas, then support them even more in January cuz that's when they really need it.

I'm leaving today. Kinda scary, really excited, and just a little sad. It's hard when all the friends I see once or twice a year are in town and I have to say goodbye to them and stuff this early. It's even harder what with the fiancee and all :( I'm turning into a wuss, I was near tears when I said goodbye to her today. But then there is also the strange emotion of knowing I'll be leaving on what will probably be one of, if not the most, exotic as well as fancy trips of my life. I'll also be getting my wedding suit and Erin's wedding band made while I'm there. It's all very cool, but somewhat strange feelings.

Anyway, pray for me while I'm in Kenya, especially that me and my family are safe from disease and crime, there's lots of both there. I'll keep you all in my prayers while I'm gone... well, by all I mean all of you that I actually know who you are... if you're a random stranger reading this then it's hard to pray for you cuz I don't even know you exist.

Wow, rambly, time to go get ready.
