Too many abortions?

I was super glad to read that a major politician is doing something about it that might actually save lives. Here the debate is always legal vs. not legal, and basically to stand on the not legal side not only abandons some desparate mothers, it also ensures any Christian wanting to enter politics and be true to their values doesn't stand a chance. Finally though, someone standing up and saying, there's too many, lets educate people better so that we can save lives. Acknowledging that it's hard and painful, and lets develop an attitude in society that encourages life and support.
