So I was diagnosed with anaphalaxis last week. It means my allergic reactions have the potential to send me to the hospital or worse. Had an attack last night... it was mild, but my inhaler wasn't doing anything, so I drove to the Rockyview. After triage I just sat in the waiting room till the symptoms passed, about an hour and a half or two. It sucked (except for Erin coming with me... that was good... sitting there with her sleeping all over me :D). Still though, better waiting near help than waking up at 2 with severe symptoms and calling an ambulance.
In other more fun news, went caving last week... VERY fun. Want to do it again soon. Had a good guide too. Ask for her next time. I was impressed too... Erin and Sinead both did really well. Was pretty confident in Erin but had bad images of her in the bottom of the cave with a carpal tunnel attack and not able to climb. Sinead stuck close to the guide in the laundry chute and didn't seem to claustrophoic which was great.
Anyway, back to 'work'
