Farewell to Giardia!!!

Well, I had my 25th and a half birthday last night. Why, you might ask, does this guy get a 25th and a half? Well, the thing is I missed my actual 25th due to a wisdom teeth extraction the night before, and I never got a chance to catch up.

In the end, almost EVERYONE I hoped would come showed up. Some old friends I don't see enough (Thanks for comin Pituch!) a few I see quite often (Thanks for comin youth ministry folks) and some I totally didn't expect to see (Thanks for comin Dave and Chris and Sara and Aaron). There were a lot of other people that came, but if I thanked everyone individually, it would be like a page, so thanks so much everyone for coming. You guys really made it the party I was hoping for.

A few notable missings... people I was really hoping would show but had some pretty good excuses for not being there. I was very sad that both Ryan and Christine had other plans that night though... Definitely not the same without them.

We went to the trap and gill. I didn't drive, which is VERY unusual, so I let loose. No one but me, and whichever poor girl I grabbed, danced the first set, but it was still good. By the second you had to fight for space on the dance floor... very awesome. Me and Erin and her friend James were the only three who lasted to the end, but it was cool... we had a great time.

Oh yeah, did I mention Erin is the best girlfriend in the world. Aside from just being super fun, I love that in a big party, she is friends with everyone by the end of it, and I don't have to worry if she is getting bored or something, and I love that she didn't get mad when I spilled beer on her (sorry sweetie) AND that when I went into the guys washroom to clean off said beer (I spilled it on myself too) she came out of a stall cleaning herself off like it was no big deal. Actually, the other guys' reactions were pretty funny!

Now I'm home, clean, a little bit rested, and ready to go look at sound gear for the Church, and my new tattoo design!
