Oh yeah... went skiing today. Oh yeah, the new skis are amazing! I could actually feel the autodrive system absorbing bumpy snow! It was amazing... so much better than my old plancks (I still love them, but mmmmm.... awesome skis). Good day, weather was crappy, but the snow was beautiful. It was good too, Lauren and I have very similar abilities, style and interests, which is awesome. Only problem is she is in way better shape than me, so I need to play some catch up. My feet still made me wanna die they hurt so much after a couple particular runs, but hey, that's life... ski through the pain right? And speaking of which... stupid thumb. Gotta go to the merg tonight, might have re broke my thumb. The ski patrol guys were funny when I went to get a splint. It was a VERY lame wipeout on some flat ground, and then he's like, 'ability level?' and I'm like, type III, and he's like 'really?' I'm like 'yeah!' and he's like, you're an expert? I'm like yeah, used to be pro... then he laughed at me. It was good times. It threw a little wrench in the day, but then i ditched the poles and kept skiing... loads o fun.
Anyway, tired and busy, so gonna go.
