So, today I'm in Luxor. Total tourist trap. Yeah, I can't wait to peel outta here... I mean, the temples are really cool and stuff, but you can't go 2 steps without someone trying to rip you off.
Went to Coptic Cairo yesterday... awesome. I got to see where Mary and Joseph fled when Herod was killing all the first borns in Bethlehem. Like, their actual home in Egypt! And when we came out of the church built over it, it was pouring rain. That is huge cuz it NEVER rains in Cairo... like 1 inch a year, and there was way more than that. It was a neat puncuation for the day.
Tomorrow is the Valley of the Kings should rule.
Oh yeah, called home today... talked to Erin... yay! Floating for the rest of the morning.
